Using a small flat head screwdriver, gently
insert it into the top of the IC and gently pry it
up. You should not have to exert too much
force to do this.
Programming Options:
Use the supplied the Options Sheet to set your game options. For instructions on how to do this, see the GEAR IT UP operators
manual section PROGRAMMING OPTIONS. The new game play will start with High Bonus Values and will increase the bonus
faster. Please start with the recommended settings and adjust as needed.
4. After you have the old programmed IC out, gently insert the
new programmed IC into the slot. Make sure you line up the
pins with the socket. Also notice there is a knotch on the
programmed IC as well as the IC socket. These knotches need to
line up.
Install Programmed IC:
1.
Locate the main logic board. This is located in the back
of the game on the lower left corner. It is the largest
board in the game.
2.
Next locate the programmed IC on the main logic board.
This will be the large IC with the decal on it.
