P button
Press the button to engage
transmission position P.
Before entering a car wash so that the
vehicle can roll
1. Depress the brake.
2. Engage in position N.
3. Release the parking brake or deactivate
Automatic Hold.
4. Switch off the engine.
The vehicle can roll for approx. 30 minutes,
provided that the ignition is not switched off.

Applying the parking brake
Pull the switch; the LED lights up.
Releas the parking brake
Press the switch with the brake
depressed or transmission position P
engaged; the LED goes out.
Unlock button
To shift from P or to R:
1. Depress the brake while the engine is
running.
2. Press the Unlock button.
3. Move the selector lever in the desired
direction.
Automatic Hold
Automatic application and release of
the parking brake, e.g. in stop-and-go
traffi c.
Activate:
Press the button; the LED illuminates.
Deactivate:
Press the button again; the LED goes
out.
