Ignition switch/steering

Keys

You receive 2 ignition keys and a
special key for removing the seat
(

54).

If a key is lost or mislaid, consult
the information on the electronic
immobiliser (EWS) (

39).

Ignition switch/steering lock and
the fuel filler cap lock are oper-
ated with the same key.

Lock the handlebars

Turn the handlebars all the way
to the left.

Turn the ignition key to pos-
ition

and move the handle-

bars slightly in the process.
Ignition, lights and all function
circuits are switched off.
Handlebars are locked.
Ignition key can be removed.

Switching on ignition

Turn the ignition key to posi-
tion

Side lights and all function cir-
cuits are switched on.
Engine can be started.
Pre-Ride-Check is performed.
