SSAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
Risk of suffocation! This fi re pit is for outdoor use only and shall
not be used in a building, garage or any other enclosed area.
Toxic carbon monoxide fumes can accumulate and cause
asphyxiation.
•
The fi replace is not suitable for commercial purposes.
•
The fi replace may only be used by adults. Children and pets must keep a
safe distance.
• Do not use petrol, methylated spirits, lighter fuel or alcohol to light the
fi re.
•
Do not use the fi replace until it has been fully assembled and all parts are
fi rmly seated.
•
Do not use the fi replace on surfaces made of wood or other fl ammable
materials.
•
Empty the fi replace after each use. Leave a thin layer of ash inside to
protect the fl oor. Do not remove the ash until the coal has completely
burnt down and the ash has cooled down.
•
Do not touch the fi replace until it has cooled down completely; wear heat-
resistant gloves during operation.
•
Do not stow the fi replace until it has cooled down completely and the ash
has been disposed of.
• Always use tools and heat-resistant gloves when adding fuel or moving the
fi replace.
•
Do not leave the fi replace unattended during use.
•
Hot embers may fall from the fi replace during use.
