Footwear can be marked with one or several symbols from the table, in order to meet the
stated requirements in addition to the obligatory requirements� The protection properties are
indicated with the relevant symbol�
mAINTENANCE
The footwear is subjected to considerable stresses and requires thorough care to last a long time�
Below is some basic advice on how to care for and to extend the lifespan of work shoes�
• Look after the footwear� Check the soles regularly and remove stones and similar items�
• Clean the footwear with a damp cloth or simply brush away clay, sand, dust and other dirt
with a soft shoe brush after each use� Do not use strong detergents�
• If the footwear gets wet, always dry it at room temperature - never put it in a tumble dryer,
on a radiator or similar�
• If the laces become worn, replace them immediately in order to ensure a good, secure fit�
• Replace the footwear immediately if it is damaged, as it will not provide the appropriate level
of protection�

The packaging which the seller provides with the footwear is designed to ensure the footwear
is delivered to the customer in the same condition as it left the manufacturer� The packaging can
also be used to store the footwear when not in use� Do not place heavy objects on the packaging
while the footwear is inside, as this can bend the packaging and damage the shoes�
