SWITCHING OFF
SWITCHING ON AGAIN
1 After filling your kettle with water, place the kettle on the
base unit.
2 Connect plug to power supply and pull down the On/Off switch.
The appliance will begin to operate and the indicator light will
come on.
When the water boils, the kettle will switch off automatically and the
indicator light will go off.
NOTE:
This appliance has a safety system, which automatically switches off the
heater element if the appliance is inadvertently switched when empty,
or if it boils dry. In this case, let the appliance cool down completely,
before filling with water again.
The kettle can be switched on again after cooling down about 30-60
seconds, while the kettle has been switched off automatically.
USING THE APPLIANCE
1 Always remove the plug from the power supply and let the
appliance cool down completely.
2 Clean the outside of the kettle and the base unit with a soft
damp cloth. Then wipe with a dry cloth. Do not use scouring.
3 Descale at regular intervals. Uses a descaling agent, which can be
obtained from specialist shops and follow the instructions given.
1 Remove the filter from the kettle.
2 Place the filter under the tap and clean dust and plaque with a
soft brush.
3 Place the filter in the middle of the two grooves near the spout in
the front of the kettle.

The cord could be winded into the base unit that has a cord storage
compartment.
Do not try to adjust or repair this appliance by yourself.

for repair.

1 Remove the kettle from the base unit.
2 You can fill the kettle with water by opening the lid, by pressing
on the lid release button.
3 Not recommend to fill with less than “
0.5L
”, kettle is dry while
operatin.
4 Do not fill water over the 1.7L for model KTB-3439/3437 and 1L
for model KTB-3415
