Basic Safety Precautions
This guide contains many important messages. Always read and obey all safety messages.
This is the safety alert symbol. It alerts you to safety messages that inform you of hazards that can kill
or hurt you or others or cause damage to the product. All safety messages will be preceded by the safety
alert symbol and the hazard signal word DANGER, WARNING, or CAUTION. These words mean:
DANGER
you will be killed or seriously injured if you don’t follow instructions.
WARNING
you will be killed or seriously injured if you don’t follow instructions.
CAUTION
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury, or product damage only.
All safety messages will identify the hazard, tell you how to reduce the risk of injury, and tell you what
can happen if the instructions are not followed.
Warning
1. This appliance conforms to current safety requirements. Improper installation, adjustment, alteration,
service or maintenance or inappropriate use can, however, lead to personal injury and damage to
property.
2. To avoid the risk of accidents and damage to the appliance, please read these instructions carefully
before using it for the first time.
3. Keep these instructions in a safe place and ensure that other users including new users are familiar
with the contents.
4. When positioning the appliance, ensure the supply cord is not trapped or damaged.
5. Do not locate multiple portable socket-outlets or portable power supplies at the rear of the
appliance.
6. Do not modify the power cord length or sharing of outlet with other appliances and don’t replace
the power cord with the damaged or unspecified power cord. It will cause electric shock or fire. If
the power cord is damaged, it should be replaced by authorised service person as specified by the
manufacturer.
7. Plug-in the power socket properly. Loose plug-in causes electric shock or fire due to heat generation.
