To enter the PROGRAM mode, start with the radio powered off and press and
hold the SCAN button and PTT button simultaneously while you power the
radio on; done by pressing the MODE button for 3 seconds. The radio will
beep and display all the LCD segments for a few seconds. The Program icon
(shown by
PROG ) icon will appear, the channel number flashes, and the
Frequency icon (shown by FREQ ) and Privacy Code icon (shown by CODE )
will be displayed alternately.
To exit
PROGRAM mode, press the MODE button for 3 seconds then the unit
will power off.
