ASSEMBLY
STEP 1
Remove the plastic cap from the
bottom post section [C]. Screw the top
post section [B] onto the bottom post
section.
STEP 2
Using a post hole digger, make a hole
in the ground that is a minimum of
12" (30.5 cm) in diameter and 36"
(91.5 cm) deep. Fill the hole with
concrete. Insert the assembled post
into the concrete with the top end 26"
(66 cm) above ground level and plumb
the post vertically. Allow the concrete
to cure before installing the grill box.
NOTE: Local soil conditions may
require a larger footing.
STEP 3
Align the holes in the swivel
mechanism of the grill box over the
holes in the top of the post. Insert the
locking pin through the holes, leaving
an equal length of pin protruding from
each side of the swivel mechanism.
Rotate the grill box one complete
revolution. The locking pin will be bent
and drawn into the swivel mechanism
to lock the grill box onto the post.
