System Troubleshooting
Component troubleshooting is limited to identifying and replacing the failed unit. The
following table will help with system troubleshooting.

2. Loose antenna cable connection
3. Wrong antenna cable –excess
cable signal loss

1. Move aircraft to open area
2. Check and tighten antenna cable
connections
3. Is this correct antenna cable? Has
it worked before? Replace cable.
4. Replace
cable.
Phone won’t work
1. Motorola Digital phone turned
off. (Display on Motorola Digital
Phone?)
2. Analog phone left off-hook
3. Dial tone in Analog phone? Line
connected?
4. Check “Can’t complete a call”
section below
1. Use Motorola Handset to Turn
phone on or reset circuit breaker
2. Hang-up analog phone and reset
power on system
3. Check connections to Analog
phone. Check Modem Unit
connections. Check wire harness.

1. Antenna Signal strength.
2. Obstructed view of the satellites
3. Error dialing number
4. You are in a restricted area
(Poland, Hungary, N Korea, N

5. SIM Card improperly inserted or
not working
6. Phone is locked or blocked.
7. Internal software error

2. Move aircraft to open area or wait
a few minutes and retry.
3. Dial using correct international
format: 00-Country Code-Area

4. Move out of restricted area
5. Check SIM card
