National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/NFPA 54

International Fuel Gas Code.

when installed, must be electrically grounded in accordance with local codes, or in the absence of local codes
with the
National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70
, if applicable .
For installation in Canada - these instructions, while generally acceptable, do not necessarily comply with the
Canadian installation codes, particularly with piping above and below ground . In Canada the installation of this
appliance must comply with local codes and/or standard CAN/CGA B149 .1 (installation code for propane burning
appliances and equipment) .

WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
• Do NOT try lighting any appliance.
• Do NOT touch any electrical switch; do
NOT use any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbor’s phone.
• Follow the gas supplier’s instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call
the fire department.
