Set the centre channel using the ar-
row buttons (UP and DOWN
) to
SMALL or NONE.
Set the surround channel using the
arrow buttons (UP and DOWN ) to
SMALL / LARGE or NONE.
Set the SUB (subwoofer channel)
using the arrow buttons (UP
and
DOWN ) to ON or OFF.
Note:
If you are using a subwoofer amplifier,
set the front and rear loudspeakers to
SMALL. The bass range up to 120 Hz
will then be outputted by the external
subwoofer.

CONFIGURING THE SYSTEM
9. Step: TEST TONE on/off
Press SETUP.
Press the arrow buttons (UP
or
DOWN
) to select TONE YES or
TONE NO. If TONE YES is set, the 5.1
channels are tested using a test tone
(the volume level of the signal should
sound the same from all loudspeakers
when heard from the listening position).
If sound volume differences can be
heard, please adjust the balance set-
tings as described in the BAL step.
Press ENTER to confirm your selection.
After this, you will reach step 10 (RE-
SET).
10. Step: RESET (resetting the
system)
Press the arrow buttons (UP
or
DOWN
) to select RESET YES or
RESET NO. Setting RESET YES will
reset the system and reapply the facto-
ry defaults.
Press ENTER to confirm your selection.
Press SETUP.
You are now in the main menu again.
If you do not press a button during
the next 6 seconds, the display will
return to the input request screen
(PRESS).
