Setting the speed-dependent
volume adjustment (GALA)
This function automatically adjusts the vol-
ume of the car sound system to the speed
driven and the associated driving noises.
For example, at an increased speed, the
volume is automatically increased to com-
pensate for the increased driving noise
(e.g. due to airstream).
For this purpose, the vehicle must provide
the speedometer signal and the car sound
system must be connected accordingly.
You can adjust the automatic volume in-
crease in 6 increments (OFF, 1-5).

"FREQ" and the currently set treble fre-
quency appear briefl y on the display.
To select a different treble frequency be-
tween 10.0 kHz and 17.5 kHz,

After approx. 2 seconds, "GAIN" and the
current setting are shown on the display.
