Aluminium frame
The casing is made of aluminium frame and removable thermal and sound-
insulated double-skinned aluzinc panels. The casing is internally filled with
20 mm layer of non-flammable mineral wool.
Position of the removable panels can be adjusted to inline air flow or 90° angle
air flow. Due to corrosion-resistant casing and thermal insulation the fan is
suitable for external mounting.
Square to square vibration absorbing connectors (AKV series) or square
to round connecting reducers (ARV series) may be connected to the fan
(available upon separate order). The round spigot of the ARV connector-
reducer is rubber sealed for air tight connection.

Iso-V models are equipped with a two-, four- or six-pole asynchronous motor
with an external rotor and a centrifugal impeller with backward curved blades.
For overheating protection built-in thermal switches are used. The thermal
switches are equipped with terminals leaded outside for connection to
external protecting controls. The thermal switch terminal leads are designed
for connection to respective circuit of the overload relay or respective
terminals of an autotransformer or thyristor speed controller. Iso-V 355 4E
model incorporates thermal switches with automatic restart. Both smooth or
step speed control is performed by means of the thyristor or autotransformer
controller (both available upon separate order).
Iso-V EC models are equipped with high-efficient external rotor EC motors and
centrifugal impellers with backward curved blades. The motors are equipped
with integrated overheating protection with automatic restart. Iso-V EC fans
are controlled with a 0–10 V external control signal, e.g. CDT E/0-10 speed
controller for EC motors.
In case of outdoor mounting the fans may be equipped with the upper
protecting cover (RSD-IV series) or the outer hood (AH-IV series) to be installed
at air inlet/outlet.
