Each shelf comes with a built-in safety feature to help minimise them being accidentally pulled fully
out. This comes in the way as a “step”, positioned at the rear of the shelf or rack.
To fit them into the oven, push the shelf part way into the oven at an angle, then fully insert. To
remove, repeat the process in reverse.
