About Your Microphone
The Blackspade UM17 microphone is a high quality, multi-pattern, studio
condenser microphone utilizing vacuum tube electronics and a gold sputtered,
Blackspade K17 center-terminated capsule.
Each UM17 comes complete with a protective carrying case and a flexible shock
through the microphone stand.
The UM17 also comes with its own power supply and 7-pin connector cable
and does not require 48v phantom power.

Proper Connection of Cables & Power Supply

Before plugging in or switching on the power supply, ensure that the
voltage selector switch is set correctly for the proper voltage in your area.
a. North America is 110v
b. Europe is 230v
c. Please check the local supply voltage and use a voltage converter as
necessary.

3. Connect the AC cable to the UM17 power supply and then to your
grounded wall outlet.
4. Connect the UM17 shock mount to the Microphone.
