Alarm

About the alarm

In the BlackBerry® device alarm, you can set a time for a daily alarm to sound. You can also set the alarm to sound on weekends, set a
snooze time for the alarm, and adjust the alarm volume.

If you turn off your device by pressing the Power button, or by clicking Turn Power Off and selecting Turn Off, the alarm should sound at
the correct time even if the device is off.

Set the alarm

1. In the alarm, set the Daily Alarm field to On.

2. Set the time when the alarm should sound.
3. Set whether to snooze the alarm and the length of the snooze.

4. Set a type of notification for the alarm.
5. Click the trackwheel.

6. Click Save.

A bell indicator appears beside the date in the device status section of the screen.

Silence the alarm

• If snooze is not turned on, press any key.
• If snooze is turned on, click Snooze.

Turn off the alarm

In the alarm, set the Daily Alarm field to Off.

Alarm troubleshooting

My alarm does not notify me on the weekend

In the alarm, verify that the Active on Weekends field is set to Yes.
