turned on, and automatically unlocks when the
ignition is turned off. To prevent accidental
lockout, ignition lock is bypassed if a door is open.
This feature may be disabled during installation.
EMERGENCY OVERRIDE
If the transmitter becomes lost or fails to operate,
the system can be disarmed by using the
emergency override feature.
To override the system:
1. Enter the vehicle.
• Because the system is armed, the siren
will sound.
2. Turn the ignition key on.
3. Press the Valet switch for 3 seconds.
• The siren will stop sounding.
• Starter defeat bypassed.
VALET MODE
When placed into the Valet Mode the security
system will be disabled, but the optional keyless
entry and trunk release features will still operate.
To enter or exit the Valet Mode:
1. Be sure the system is disarmed.
2. Turn the ignition key on.
3. Press and hold valet switch for 3 seconds.
• The siren will chirp to confirm mode
change.
• The LED will indicate the mode:
LED on solid = Valet Mode
LED off = Normal
REMOTE PANIC
In the event of an emergency (PANIC) situation, the
system’s siren can be triggered for 30 seconds to
attract attention.To activate the Panic Feature, press
transmitter button 1 for 3 seconds:
• The siren will sound.
• The parking lights will flash.
Press button 1 to exit panic mode and disarm the
system. The Panic Feature is disabled when the
ignition is on.
ANTI-CARJACKING FEATURE
This system is equipped with a user activated Anti-
Carjacking feature for increased safety.
To activate Anti-Carjacking:
1. Make sure the ignition key is ON.
2. Press transmitter button 1 for 2 seconds.
• The parking lights will flash twice.
• After 40 seconds, the siren will begin
chirping.
• After 20 more seconds, the siren will
sound continuously, the parking lights will
flash, and the starter will be disabled.
• After 60 more seconds, the siren and
parking lights will stop, and the starter
will remain disabled.
3. Press transmitter button 1 or enter
emergency override at any time to disarm
Anti-Carjacking feature.
OPTIONAL TRUNK RELEASE
Press button 2 for approximately 2 seconds to
open the trunk.
TWO STAGE SHOCK SENSOR BYPASS
There may be times when it is desirable to bypass
the shock sensor’s warning chirps or disable the
shock sensor completely. To bypass the shock
sensor, arm the system then press button 2 within
3 seconds.
1st press = warning chirps disabled
2nd press = shock sensor disabled
3rd press = shock sensor enabled
The siren will chirp 1, 2, or 3 times to indicate the
setting. The setting will be retained until the next
time the system is armed.
Note: If the system is armed silently, then button
1is used for shock sensor bypass.
