Turning the Unit On or Off

♦

To turn the unit On or Off, plug it into a mains

socket and flick the Power On/Off switch at

the back of the appliance to the On position

(represented by the symbol ‘I’). The unit will give

off a short beeping sound to indicate it has been

powered up.

NOTE: When it is first powered up, the unit will

automatically go into Standby mode. The LCD

screen will show the average heating temperature

(25 degrees) for a moment, then default to displaying

the room temperature until a selection is made.

♦

When the appliance has been powered up, press

the On/Standby button to turn it on. The unit will

automatically start operating in cooling mode

and remain in this setting until another selection

is made. The cooling fan indicator will light up

on the unit’s LCD screen to indicate the unit is in

operation.

♦

To turn the appliance off, first press the On/

Standby button while the unit is in operation to

put it into Standby mode. A 30-second countdown

will begin on the unit’s LCD screen. When the

timer reaches ‘0’, the unit will automatically go into

Standby mode.

♦

When the countdown has concluded and the unit

is in Standby mode, flick the Power On/Off switch

to the Off position (represented by the symbol ‘O’)

to turn the unit off completely.

♦

Press the Mode button on the remote control

or the unit’s control panel to cycle between the

corresponding indicators will light up on the

unit’s LCD screen to show each setting has been

selected.

Temperature Selection

♦

The unit’s temperature can be adjusted manually

in any of the 3 available heat settings.

♦

Use the Up and Down arrows on the remote

control or the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ keys on the unit’s control

panel to manually adjust the heating output

temperature. Use the Up arrow or ‘+’ key to

increase the temperature, and the Down arrow or

‘-‘ key to decrease it.

NOTE: The temperature will increase or decrease by

increments of 1 degree, from a minimum of 10 to a

maximum of 49 degrees.
NOTE: The unit’s default heating temperature is 25

degrees.
NOTE: Whenever a temperature of 23 degrees or

above is selected, the unit will automatically default

to a High heat setting; whenever a temperature of

20 degrees or below is selected, it will automatically

default to a Low heat setting; whenever the

selected temperature is below room temperature,

it will automatically default to Cooling mode. At

temperatures between 20 and 23 degrees, the heat

settings can be adjusted manually according to
