232-COAX BALUN
Typical Applications
The 232-Coax Balun is wired as a DCE (pin 2 = input,
pin 3 = output). If your device is a DTE (pin 2 = output,
pin 3 = input), you can use the straight-through RS-232
cable built into the balun. But if you are connecting a
DCE device to the balun, a crossover cable is required.
The illustrations below and on the next page show the
232-Coax Balun in both straight-through and crossover
cable applications.
