Mnemonic Call If the same destination is often used, it can be called by a mnemonic call, provided
the call-initiation information has been defined by means of the Call ID function
(see
Chapter 2 in the
Packet Switching Guide
).
To use the mnemonic call initiation command, type C, the mnemonic, and then press
the <CR> key.
Multiple
Sessions
To change the current session, or to start a new session, use the following procedure:
• If an active call is handled by the current session, type CTRL P to obtain
the PAD prompt.
• When the PAD is free, type SES, the number of the desired session
(1 through 4), and then press the <CR> key.
• The PAD prompt reappears. If the new session number is not 1, the
session number (2, 3, or 4) appears to the left of the PAD prompt
(separated by one space).
