INTRODUCTION

Thank you for purchasing a

Black & Decker Power Inverter.

Please read this

guide carefully before use to ensure optimum performance and to avoid damage to
this product.

FEATURES

The front panel provides two LED indicators. The green LED indicates power and
proper operation of the inverter, the red LED indicates inverter shutdown from over-
load or over-temperature condition, or abnormal input voltages.
An ON/OFF Switch turns the inverter ON and OFF. The switch can also be used to
force reset of inverter circuits by switching it OFF, then back ON again.
AC power is supplied through grounded standard North American household-type
outlets. The VEC1045BD features one outlet; the VEC1046BD and VEC1047BD
feature two. The outlets can accommodate either two- or three-pin AC plugs. Power
may also be supplied through the 12 volt DC outlet on the VEC1045BD (only).
