Intended Use
Your BLACK+DECKER Lithium Ion cordless vacuum cleaner
has been designed for light, dry vacuum cleaning purposes.
This appliance is intended for household use only.
Charging the Battery (Fig. B)
WARNING:
For use only with the
supplied charger.
WARNING:
Before charging, be sure to
empty all contents and dry thoroughly if needed to
avoid damage to your appliance.
1. Before first use, the battery must be charged for at least
13 hours.
2. Make sure the appliance is switched off. The battery will
not be charged with the on/off power switch

in the
ON position.
3. Plug the external power supply cord

into a standard
120 Volt 60 Hz electrical outlet.
4. Lower the appliance onto the charging base. The
charging indicator LED

will illuminate.
5. When charging is complete, the LED will turn off.
While charging, the charger may become warm. This is
normal and does not indicate a problem.
Leaving the appliance connected to the charger indefinitely
will not damage the appliance’s batteries or shorten
its run time. The charger automatically reduces power
consumption when charging is complete.
