Speed Selection

♦

There is a choice of 3 airflow settings: Low (1),

Medium (2) or High (3).

♦

Press the speed selection button on the remote

control or the unit’s control panel to cycle through

the available airflow settings. The corresponding

indicator will light up to show each speed has

been selected.

Mode Selection

There is a choice of 3 cooling modes: Normal,

Natural and Sleep.

♦

In Normal mode, the unit will cool continuously at

the desired speed.

♦

In Natural mode, the unit will automatically cycle

through different airflow settings to simulate a

natural breeze.

♦

In Sleep mode, the unit will automatically cycle

through different airflow settings to simulate a

gentle natural breeze suitable for night-time use.

The Cooling Function

♦

This unit is equipped with a cooling function, ideal

for lowering room temperature or refreshing the air

inside a room.

♦

Press the ‘Cool’ button on the remote control or

the unit’s control panel to activate the cooling

function. The corresponding indicator will light up

to show the cooling function has been activated.

♦

Press this button again while the cooling function

is in operation to turn this function off. The

corresponding indicator will go out to show the

function has been turned off.

Note! Always ensure the water tank is filled before

attempting to use the cooling function; otherwise,

this function will not operate correctly. Refer to the

‘Filling the Water Tank’ section below for instructions

on how to fill the water tank.

Filling the Water Tank

♦

To remove the water tank to conveniently fill under

a tap, turn the safety locking mechanism at the

underside of the unit to a horizontal position to

release the tank from the unit. Once the lock has

been released, release the clip connecting the

water tank to the unit’s inner wiring, located at the

far end of the water tank. To release this clip, grip

it firmly and push both tabs inward at the same

time to loosen the clasp, then pull it firmly away

from the water tank until it detaches completely.

Once the clip is detached, place the water tank

under a running tap or shower and fill it up as

required.

♦

Alternatively, pull the water tank partway out of

the unit and fill it up with a hose, bucket or shower

head, as required.

♦

Once the water tank is full, place it back into the

unit, ensuring the connecting clip slots into place.

To do this, align the two tabs on either side of the

clip with the corresponding notches on the main

body of the water tank, then push the clip down

until they click into place. Once the clip is in place,

push the water tank back into the unit and turn the

locking mechanism to a vertical position to secure

it into place.

Emptying the Water Tank

♦

To empty the water tank, follow the steps detailed

above to detach it from the main body of the unit.

Once the water tank has been detached from the

main body of the unit, tip it over and empty it into a

sink or drain.

♦

Once the water tank is empty, place it back into

the unit, ensuring the connecting clip slots into

place. To do this, align the two tabs on either side

of the clip with the corresponding notches on the

main body of the water tank, then push the clip

down until they click into place. Once the clip is in

place, push the water tank back into the unit and

turn the locking mechanism to a vertical position

to secure it into place.

Note! If not using the dehumidifying function again,

ensure the water tank is fully dry before placing it

back into the unit.
