  Rotate the tool anti-clockwise and the 

screwdriver will activate in the reverse 

direction.

Note: The speed of the tool is determined by 

the amount of rotation. .

Small rotation = slower speed.

Large rotation = Higher speed.

LED work light

The LED work light (4) is activated automati-

cally when the motion control activator (1) is 

depressed. 

Automatic shut off

To maintain battery life in case off accidental 

activation, the tool will automatically turn off 

after 45 seconds of continuous opperation. 

The LED work light (4) will blink rapidly for 5 

seconds before the tool shuts down.

Hints for optimum use

Screwdriving

  Always use the correct type and size of 

screwdriver bit.

u

  If screws are difficult to tighten, try apply-

ing a small amount of washing liquid or 

soap as a lubricant.

u

  Always hold the tool and screwdriver bit in 

a straight line with the screw.

Maintenance

Your Black & Decker tool has been designed 

to operate over a long period of time with 

a minimum of maintenance. Continuous 

satisfactory operation depends upon proper 

tool care and regular cleaning.

Your charger does not require any mainte-

nance apart from regular cleaning.

Warning! Before performing any maintenance 

on the tool, remove the battery from the tool. 

Unplug the charger before cleaning it.

  Regularly clean the ventilation slots in 

your tool and charger using a soft brush or 

dry cloth.

u

  Regularly clean the motor housing using 

a damp cloth. Do not use any abrasive or 

solvent-based cleaner.

u

  Regularly open the chuck and tap it to 

remove any dust from the interior.

Protecting the environment

Separate collection. This product 

must not be disposed of with 

normal household waste.

Should you find one day that your Black & 

Decker product needs replacement, or if it 

is of no further use to you, do not dispose of 

it with household waste. Make this product 

available for separate collection.
