Polishing of the valve face should be done,
with minimal pressure and using a figure

pattern.
On the body of the valve you will see three (3)
small valve spools. Remove them and
examine each spool carefully for scratches. If
any scratches are noted they should be
polished on a fine polishing stone using the
same technique as was used on the valve face.
Once the valve face, valve body and spools
have been polished, re-assemble the
directional control valve.
Check the oil level in the tank
Top it up to the full mark.
Put the directional control valve in the
neutral position.
Switch on the magnet switch then the motor
switch and run the pump in neutral for about
three minutes.
Reconnect all lines and put the directional
control lever to the high-pressure side and
test the pressure.
Check Valve is damaged
