ndirect Measurement
The
Distancemeter
uses the Pythagorean Theorem (a
2
+b
2
=c
2
) to
measure height indirectly.
To take an indirect measurement:
1. Press to select the type of indirect measurement and
activate laser beam.
2. Follow the instructions on the main screen to measure
the length of “a” and the length of “c”.
3. Height measurement (b) appears on the screen.
