Interfaces

30.1

Interface overview

The device is equipped with the following interfaces:
–

I/O-Port, see page 400

–

Serial Interfaces, see page 400

–

System bus (Profibus), see page 404

–

Optional: Ethernet (TCP/IP), see page 404

Via these interfaces you can transmit or receive data and commands to and from other de-
vices.

30.2

Output port

The output to the I/O port is used to control external devices such as transportation sys-
tems or packaging machines.

The output port is set up by Bizerba Service. For further information
please contact your Bizerba consultant or Bizerba Service.

30.3

Serial interfaces (EDP interfaces)

By standard, the device has one serial interface. If the device is fitted with an additional
interface card, two further interfaces will be available. You can assign an application to
each serial interface. Some applications require additional settings to be made.
