Die vorliegende Ergänzung zur Betriebsanleitung
DB-300 beschränkt sich auf die Besonderheiten des
Einsatzes dieser Ölabscheider in explosionsgefährde-
ten Bereichen (Ölabscheider in Ex-Schutz-
Sonderausführung). Darüber hinaus gilt auch die
Betriebsanleitung DB-300.
Einsatz dieser Ölabscheider in explosionsgefährdeten
Bereichen ist nur in Verbindung mit den Schraubenverdichtern
OS.(A)74ex zugelassen. Deshalb müssen ebenso die entspre-
chenden BITZER-Betriebsanleitungen SB-500 und SB-509
beachtet werden.
Diese Ölabscheider sind zum Einbau in Kälteanlagen entspre-
chend der EG-Maschinenrichtlinie 98/37/EG und der
EG-Druckgeräterichtlinie 97/23/EG vorgesehen, die in Be-
reichen aufgestellt werden, die der EG-Explosions-
schutzrichtlinie 94/9/EG unterliegen (ATEX 100a).
Sie dürfen nur in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn sie gemäß
der Standard-Betriebsanleitung DB-300 und dieser Ergänzung
eingebaut worden sind und als Ganzes mit den entsprechen-
den gesetzlichen Vorschriften übereinstimmen (anzuwenden-
de Normen: siehe Konformitätserklärungen).*

This supplement to the operating instructions DB-300 is
limited to the special features of these oil separators
concerning the application in potentially explosive
areas (special explosion-proof oil searator design). Pay
also attention to the operating instructions DB-300.
The application of these oil separators in potentially explo-
sive areas is only allowed in combination with screw com-
pressors OS.(A)74ex. Therefore the respective BITZER oper-
ating instructions SB-500 and SB-509 have to be considered
as well.
According to the EC Machines Directive 98/37/EG and the
EC Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC, these oil sepa-
rators are designed for the installation in refrigeration plants
which are situ-ated in areas that are subject to the EC
Explosion-proof Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 100a).
They may be put to service only if they have been installed
according to the standard operating instructions DB-300 and
this supplement and as a whole agree with the correspond-
ing provisions of legislation (standards to apply: refer to
Declaration of Conformity).*
