How to Use
The secret to the Snap Out tool
’s success is that the base piece gently pushes in the
button tabs just enough to clear the mounting hole. This ensures that the snap points of
the button never go beyond the threshold of damage. The plunger piece then pushes
out the button cleanly through the hole.
1. Locate button to remove. Disconnect the wires going to the button.
2. Choose the appropriate sized Snap Out tool. Use the base piece and slide over
the button, ensuring that the base piece is fully inserted. If using a 30mm Snap
Out tool, the notch on the side is used to clear the joystick mounting plate (shown
in picture below).
