Vacuum cleaner won’t turn on

Possible causes 

Remedies

1.

  Power cord not firmly plugged in

  Check electrical plug

2.

  Electronic protector activated

  Turn vacuum off and unplug, see page 12

.  Hose handle not full attached

Remove handle and reinstall

Brush not rotating fully

Possible causes  

Remedies

1.

  Brush control button turned "OFF"

  Make sure brush control button is pushed "ON" 

2.

  Vacuum is in upright position 

2.

  Recline vacuum to operate brush

3.

  Brush is jammed 

3.

  Unplug vacuum, remove obstruction or debris

 

  

  and reset brush (pages 11 & 12)

  Brush needs to be reset

  Unplug vacuum to reset brush (page 11)

Handle not fully attached

Remove handle and reinstall

Vacuum cleaner won't pick up or low suction

Possible causes

  Hose not properly attached

  Check Twist-n-Snap hose connection and make

 

  sure hose is securely seated in hose base

  Dirt container not installed properly

  Correctly position and snap into place

3.

  Dirt container full 

3.

  Empty dirt container

4.

  Clog in cleaner 

4.

  Follow instructions on page 11

  Filters are dirty

  Check and clean pre-motor filter, check and 

 

  replace HEPA media post-motor  

 

  filter if needed

Visible dirt escaping from cleaner

  Dirt container full

  Filters or inner cyclone missing or installed incorrectly

  Check inner cyclone, pre-motor and 

 

  HEPA media post-motor filters for correct  

 

  installation

  Dirt container not installed properly

  Make sure dirt container is correctly 

 

  postioned and snapped into place

  Hose not properly attached

  Check Twist-n-Snap hose connection and make

 

  sure hose is securely seated in hose base

  Hole or crack in hose 

5.

  Check hose for holes or cracks and 

 

  replace as needed
