Programming the radio transmitter
To tune-in the CareMat on the RCL07:
Press the programming key briefly
(< 1.6 seconds). The LED then clashes. Tune-in the CareMat by actuating it.
When the programming is successfully completed the LED illuminates. To return
to the operating mode briefly press the programming key once more.
To switch-off CareMat on RCL07:
press the programming key for longer than
1.6 seconds until the LED starts to flash rapidly. The switching-off mode is acti-
vated. Then actuate CareMat. The LED illuminates briefly. The CareMat is now
switched-off. To return again to the operating mode, press the programming key
briefly.
Battery changing for radio transmitter
Note: The CareMat and the signal transmitter form a call system. They
should be clearly identified so that they cannot be mixed up. In this way, it
can be ensured that the call is only triggered in the particular room where
the CareMat and the RCL07 are also actually located.
Maintenance and fault finding
7
Apart from battery changing the CareMat is maintenance-free. Only tighten
the screws lightly.
If despite this, function is not being provided, the following checks should be
made:
• Is the call system operating and the RCL07 correctly connected?
• Is the CareMat correctly tuned-in to the RCL07?
• Is the signal transmitter battery OK?
If the points mentioned above have been checked out, but the functions of
the CareMat are, despite this, still not being provided, you should consult a
qualified expert.
The signal transmitter and its battery are to be disposed of at a suit-
able collecting point, so that the components are recycled, correctly
treated and disposed of in an environmentally correct manner.
The CareMat minus the signal transmitter and battery can be dispo-
sed of as household refuse You can obtain further information on
your local collection point from your refuse collection authority or
from the competent representative.

The plug connection of the RCL07 to the call
system must be installed by a qualified techni-
cian. One CareMat and one RCL07 radio recei-
ver are installed per room. If anyone steps on
an assigned CareMat, an alarm signal is trans-
mitted to the RCL07. The LED illuminates and
the relay output reacts. The CareMat continu-
es to transmit for as long as it is activated and
in any case for a maximum of 10 seconds. The
LED does not illuminate in the stand-by mode.
The deadman’s operation is factory set.
