1. Turn the device off using the ON/OFF button on the remote control.
2. Unplug from the power outlet.
3. Remove the outer shell (D) using the attachment knobs (P) as previously described.
4. Gently unscrew the mounting screw (V) and remove the power cord (U)
5. If there is a safety holding down the mounting spring (S), remove it. Gently unhook the condenser (M) from the
mounting spring (S), widening it at the ends.
6. Remove the mesh (R) from the outside of the condenser. If the operation is difficult, lightly rotate the mesh
around the quartz cylinder.
7. Clean the quartz cylinder with a damp cloth.
WARNING!!
Do not use detergents, soaps or the like
8. Clean the mesh under hot running water and dry thoroughly with a cloth
9. Make sure the condenser glass has no cracks or other damage. If it does, replace it.
10. As soon as you notice a white coating on the metal grill inside the quartz cylinder, it must be replaced. Usual-
ly, the condenser must be replaced within a maximum of 18 months.
11. Reset the metal mesh on the tube, overlapping the inner grill.
WARNING!!
Leave a minimum distance of 6 - 7 mm from the bottom of the condenser.
12. Clean the outside of the device.
13. Reset the condenser on the spring, replace the wire on the pin (T) and lock it in place gently using the support
screw (V). Reset any safety removed in point 5.
14. Replace the outer shell on the device (D).
15. Plug back in to power.
16. Reactivate the device using the ON/OFF button on the remote control
17. Check the operation of the device: the LED on the receiving plate (Q) should come on and you should hear a
slight noise.
18. Make sure the Bioxigen ® device is working. See if it responds to commands. If there is a malfunction, discon-
nect it from the mains and consult a technician (dealer, manufacturer).
6.4 Filter cleaning
Bioxigen® MISTRAL and MISTAL MAXI devices are equipped with an intake filter that must be cleaned periodically
as described in the following table:
