PELLET STORAGE ROOM
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
The boiler requires a separate 230 V 50 Hz power
supply. The mains supply line must be protected with
a 16A category B circuit breaker. We recommend
installing an emergency heating switch.
FIRE PROTECTION
according to country-specific regulations.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION IN THE PELLET STORE
There must be no electrical installations such as
switches, lights, junction boxes, etc. in the pellet store!
ATTENTION:
Exception for explosion-proof versions.
Two „filling nozzles“ are required to fill a pellet store. An extraction fan is connected to one filling nozzle when the
fuel is delivered and the pellets are blown in at the other. A wall opening with a diameter of 125 - 150 mm must be
made on site. The filling couplings are firmly installed in this opening with suitable material (they must not loosen
when filling the store). The permissibility of installation foam must be clarified in advance with the pellet supplier.
The baffle mat must be mounted in such a way that the injection nozzle is opposite! Minimum distance
between the filling couplings: min. 0.5 metres!
The impact protection mat (1000 x 1250 mm) protects the pellets from breaking when hitting the storage room
wall. Furthermore, the wall itself is protected from damage. The impact protection mat consists of an abrasion-
resistant and ageing-resistant plastic with a fastening option for ceiling mounting and a downward tensioning
option (trampoline effect). It is mounted opposite the filling spout with a wall clearance of at least 300 mm.
The distance between the wall and the impact mat must be at least 300 mm!
Other discharge systems can also be used upon request or after consultation and approval by Biotech
Energietechnik GmbH. The use of non-approved discharge systems invalidates the guarantee / warranty.

FILLING SYSTEMS PZ100/101RL
The PZ100/101RL has two independent discharge systems from the storage room to the intermediate container.
Due to the design, the warehouse is emptied unevenly via the two discharge systems. When one storage area
becomes empty, the affected discharge system is automatically deactivated. The second discharge system
continues to operate. After filling the store, as soon as both delivery systems can be supplied with fuel again, this
must be acknowledged on the system via the control panel. Both delivery systems are then active again.
