5. Open the front grill by depressing the
door tab to expose the inside of the air
cleaner (Figure 1).
6. Check to make sure that the pre-filter
is in place inside the door. If not, see
"Filter Replacement".
7. Next, remove the HEPA filters from
inside of air cleaner. Locate carbon
filters packed separately in box. Remove
any plastic wrapping (dispose of plastic
wrapping), and slide a carbon filter
underneath the tabs on the HEPA filter
frame. Repeat with each HEPA
filter assembly (Figure 2).
8. Re-install the HEPA filters on the filter
guide posts (Figure 3).
9. Close the door until it snaps in place.
If for any reason, the door is not sealed
properly, the Door Ajar indicator will
appear on the control panel to indicate that the door is not
closed. It is important to maintain a proper door seal to
achieve maximum filtration.
☛
Tip: If the door is not closed properly and Door Ajar is lit,
the air cleaner will not operate.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug the power cord into
a 120V AC electrical outlet.
2. Turn the unit on by pushing
the power button.
3. Select the desired operating
speed – High, Medium, Low, or Sleep by touching the but-

it is recommended that you run the air cleaner continuously on
the highest setting initially, then switch to the medium, low or
sleep setting depending on your preference.
FILTER REPLACEMENT
To keep your unit operating at peak effectiveness, your HEPA filter
should be changed at a minimum of every 12 months and your
carbon filter should be replaced every 3 months. Always unplug
the appliance before moving it, opening the grill, changing filter,
or cleaning.
