OPERATING the be.IP swift
SETUP ON A DSL CONNECTION
Connect the enclosed DSL
cable (gray plug) to the
telephone socket (TAE house
connection) and the DSL
socket of the
be.IP swift.
Connect the plug-in power supply
to the
be.IP swift
and a power
outlet. Wait until the status LED
lights up permanently green.
Connect a device (notebook,
smartphone, ...) via LAN or WiFi
(see router pass for login data) to
make your individual settings in
the next step.
Call up
be.ip
or the IP address
192.168.0.251
in your browser
and make your settings. The login
data can be found on the type
plate or the router passport on the
back of the device.

NOTE FOR USE ON A FIBER
OPTIC CONNECTION
If you already have a fiber optic modem, you
can continue to use it. Connect a network
cable to the link socket of the modem and the
blue WAN socket of the
be.IP swift
.

You can also connect the fiber port directly to
your device. To do this, you need an optional
plug-in fiber optic modem (SFP). You will find all
the important setup instructions in the modem
manual.
