9. USING THE PHONEBOOK
You can save names and phone numbers in the SIM card
memory or the phone memory. The number of phonebook
contacts you can store on the SIM card depends on the
capacity of your SIM card memory.
9.1
Call a contact from the phonebook
1.
From the home screen, press
Phonebook
or
to access your phonebook entries.
2.
Enter the first letter of the contact‟s name.
The names starting with that letter is displayed.
3.
Scroll to the contact you wish to call.
4.
Press
to call.
5.
Press
to end the call.

Add a contact to the phonebook
1.
From the home screen, press
Phonebook
or
to access your phonebook entries.
2.
Press
, scroll to
Create
and press
.
3.
Scroll to your preferred storage location (
Save to SIM
or
Save to ME
) and press
.
4.
Enter name using the keypad and press
.
Press
to switch text input mode.
To erase a wrong entry, press
Delete
to erase the
character before the cursor. Press and hold to erase all
the characters at once.
5.
Enter phone number and press
.
The new contact is saved.
6.
Press
to return to the home screen.
