Do not allow the appliance to be exposed to the weather (sun,
rain, etc.).
After switching it on or off the appliance might make a 'clicking'
sound, due to the heating and cooling of its metal parts; this is not
an indicator of incorrect operation.
Should the appliance fail or not work correctly, disconnect the
power cord immediately. Check that it is not damaged, and
thereafter turn it back on: if in any doubt, consult a qualified
professional.
In order to prevent electric shocks, never immerse the plug, the
power cord or the appliance in water or any other liquid.
Do not pull on the power cord or the appliance itself to unplug the
appliance from the plug point.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its technical assistance centre or by someone
who is similarly qualified, in order to prevent any risks.
Do not use this heating appliance with programmers, timers or
with any other device that automatically turns on the appliance,
as this could pose a fire risk should the appliance be covered or
positioned incorrectly.
Do not use the appliance near a bathtub, a shower, swimming
pool;
The appliance must not be placed directly beneath a plug point.
WARNING: The heater must not be used if the quartz tubes are
damaged.
INSTALLATION
After unpacking, check that all parts of the appliance are present; if in doubt, do not
use and contact a qualified technician. The packaging materials (plastic bags,
polystyrene, metal staples, etc.) must not be left within reach of children, as they
constitute possible sources of danger and must be disposed of according to
applicable regulations.
