Step 12: Attach Lower Diagonals

Wood Parts

Hardware

Pre-drill all holes using a 1/8” drill bit before installing the lag screws.
A:

Attach 1 (0369) Lower Diagonal to each end of (1872) Ground with 1 (H2) 1/4 x 2” Hex Bolt (with flat washer,

lock washer and t-nut) per side. (fig. 12.1)

Make sure to keep the bolts loose.

Through the pre-drilled holes attach (0369) Lower Diagonals to each (1500) Post using 1 (LS3) 1/4 x 3” Lag

Screw (with flat washer) per diagonal. (fig. 12.1)

Tighten the Hex Bolts from Step A.
