ASSEMBLY
1.
Find the mounting locations 50 to 70 inch stance (at the centers of the gaskets)
from front to back of the boat.
2.
Place a gasket at one of the front mounting locations and use a pin or marker to
mark through the hole on the gasket and onto your boat. Measure back 50 to 70
inches, making sure to stay parallel with the boat trim line. Repeat on opposite
side of boat.
3.
Drill holes using a 9/16” drill bit and drill through the side of the boat
running
the drill in reverse.
Chamfer holes using a mounted grinding ball/stone found at
most hardware stores.
4.
Assemble mounts onto boat as
shown in image to the right. (
Make
sure to follow detailed installation
and instructions manual
)
5.
Assemble the front legs.
6.
Attach the rear legs to the rear
mounts and lay the legs to the back
of the boat. You will attach them to
the front legs later.
7.
Slide front legs into the Top Bar. One at a time, mount front legs to the
corresponding front mount.
8.
Attach the front legs to the rear legs.
9.
Now make sure that the Top Bar is centered side to side. Do this by measuring
from the edge of the Top Bar to the outer side of the corner of the leg..
(Note: We
recommend pulling the corners into the Top Bar with a ratchet strap. This helps
preload the tower. You can do this by looping a ratchet strap around the two
front legs and pulling them towards each other into the Top Bar.)
