Connecting a ventilation unit
2.8.1 Connecting air intake ducts (CC V)
The ventilation units are fit for drawing air from elsewhere to
discharge it into the room. This air can be either filtered out-
side air or preconditioned air.
It is possible to open and close air valves with the unit.

To prevent draught when the unit is switched off, Biddle
recommends to include air valves

in the air intake ducts.
1. Connect insulated ducts with a diameter according to
table 2-3 to the unit.
2. Connect the air valve servomotors to the unit according
to the wiring diagram.
2.8.2 Air valve control
There are two options for controlling air valves:
•
via the 0-10VDC output on the PCB for the control of
0-10VDC servomotors.
•
via a signal to output O3 (24V~1A).
