5. Trouble shooting
Followi ng ar e a fe w comm on pr obl ems that may occur duri ng op eration. Her e ar e
some suggestions for easy tr o ubl esh ooti ng:
A. The unit does not work, no light and the fan does not w ork
1. Ch eck the con nection of pow er and main fuse.
2. Measure the mai ns voltage on the main con nector.
3. Ch eck the power on LED.
B. Not responding to DMX controller
1. DMX LED should be on. If n ot, check DMX conn ectors, cables to see if link
properly.
2. If the DMX LED is on and no r esponse to the chan nel , check the address
settings an d DMX polarity.
3. If yo u have int ermittent DMX si gnal pr obl ems, check the pi ns on con n ectors or on
PCB of the unit or th e pr evious one.
4. Try to use another DMX controller .
5. Ch eck if the DMX cabl es r un near or run alongside to hi gh vol tage cabl es that
may cause damage or interference to DMX interface circuit.
C. One of the channels is not working well
1. The stepper motor mi ght be da maged or the cabl e con nected to the PCB is
broken.
2.
The
motor’s
drive
IC
on
the
PCB
might
be
out
of
condition.
