PRODUCT INFORMATION MC 930
Thank you for selecting the MC 930 condenser
microphone. Please take some time to read carefully
through this product information before using the
microphone.
Application
Applications for the MC 930 include broad-
casting, recording and film studios and on stage.
The MC 930 is suitable for miking choirs, solos,
woodwind and brass instruments, piano and string
instruments or for overheads on drums.
Connection
The MC 930 is fitted with a 3-pin XLR-plug. It
can be connected to any microphone input with
phantom power supply (11 - 52 V). For connecting
cables refer to “Optional Accessories”. If no
phantom power is available, you can use the
MSG 248.1 power supply (for 2 microphones)
connected between the microphone and the input
of the amplifier or mixing console.
Installation
As supplied the MC 930 includes the MKV 9
for stands with 3/8" thread. For stands with a 5/8"
thread, the thread thread adapter can be unscrewed
using a small coin.
To attach to the
MKV 9 clamp the MC 930 should be
pressed between the two elastic jaws of the clamp.
The MKV 9 can swivel through 90°.
