7. Washing instructions
WARNING
Always remove the plug from the socket and Control Connector from Blanket Connector before cleaning the
blanket. Otherwise there is a risk of electric shock.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth for controller cleaning and care.
CAUTION
Never immerse the controller in water or other liquids. It may otherwise be damaged.
CAUTION
Do not use chemical cleaning or scouring agents to clean the blanket and controller. The blanket and con-
troller may otherwise be damaged.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the product or property! Do not dry clean! Do not use bleach! Do not use Wringer!
Do not iron your blanket!
To prolong the life of your heated blanket, proper care and cleaning is essential. Follow these washing instruc-
tions to preserve the softness of the fabric and protect the electrical components:
Wash by hand or as follows in automatic washer using slow agitation and normal spin speed: Fill washer
with lukewarm water. Add minimum amount of all-purpose detergent, agitate to dissolve, measure blanket
before washing. Add blanket and soak five minutes. Agitate two minutes. Spin. Fill for cool rinse, agitate one
minute then spin. Dry in automatic dryer on low heat, two minutes only, or line dry. Remove damp blanket
from dryer, block to original size, and drape to finish drying. Do not iron your blanket.
CAUTION
Make sure the Blanket Connector is completely dry before plugging the Blanket into an electrical outlet.
8. Storage and Disposal
• Allow the heating seat to cool down before storing.
• To prevent product damage do not place any objects on it.
• If you do not plan to use the heating seat for a long period of time, store it in the original packaging in a
cool, dry place.
• Disconnect the Control Connector and the controller for storage.
Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations.
