Sweet potatoes
Salted water, simmering
50 g
Butter
150 ml
Milk
1 tbsp
Maple syrup
A pinch Nutmeg
A pinch Cardamom
½ tsp.
Salt
Pepper,
to taste
1. Peel the sweet potatoes, cut into chunks
and cook them in an open pot in simmering
salted water for approx. 20 min. or until
tender. Drain the water, then move the pot
back and forth on the turned-off hob to
cook off any excess moisture on the potatoes.
Strain the potatoes through the Mashed
Potato Maker portion by portion, as shown
in the instructions (see p. 6).
2. Cut butter into pieces and stir into the mix-
ture. Heat up the milk and add slowly with
the maple syrup whilst stirring constantly until
the desired consistency has been reached.
Stir in the nutmeg and cardamom and season
to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve with: Filled meatballs
