Operating instructions

Connect the appliance along with the power adaptor that goes with it to a 220
V power source.

Place the ON/OFF switch into the ON (I) position. A short self-test is carried
out as soon as the appliance is switched on. The green standby light then shi-
nes. The value display and the number of notes display are both set to zero
(0). The EuroTester / counter is ready for use.
3.
Insert the banknotes individually with the front or the reverse side of the note
(depending on the direction) and insert them until the notes as far as they will.
The note is automatically drawn in and ejected to the front or the rear of the
device again depending on the setting. You can set this setting with the
MODE
key.
Front
= ejection to the front.
REAR
= ejection to the rear.

If a note is counterfeit or fault, you will hear a double acoustic warning signal
and the red
ALERT
warning notice will flash. The note is rejected at the same
time and ejected at the insertion point once again. In this case the note's value
will not be displayed or added and the and the number of notes will also not
added. This action should be repeated as a precaution to ensure that it really
is a counterfeit or faulty note.

The EuroTester / counter can be operated once again if your press the
CLEAR
key and the
ALERT
display signal will stop flashing. In this process the value
display and the note counter values will be deleted and are reset to zero.

You can also continue to carry out the test function with additional notes with-
out pressing the
CLEAR
key. In this case the addition of the value and the
number of notes will not be interrupted but instead continued with in accor-
dance with the value status prior to the recognition of counterfeit money.
7.
The value and counting function: The value of the notes is determined, added
and displayed. The notes will be counted, added and displayed.
8.
Cleaning and maintenance:
