CHECKS AND MAINTENANCE

CHANGING THE GEAR AND CLUTCH

OIL

Before performing this operation, remove

the lower bumper

after unscrewing the

two screws

as shown in the picture.

The oil must be changed when the engine

is at operating temperature.

Park the motorbike on a flat surface, re-

move the drain plug

and collect the oil

in a vessel.

Thoroughly clean the screw and sealing

surface, put in screw

with the seal ring

and tighten at 20 Nm.

Remove the screw

closure from the co-

ver and introduce 85.0 ml of transmission

shift oil PANOLIN OFF ROAD 4T SYNTH

10W/40.

Under conditions with high engine tem-

peratures and intense clutch use (deep

sand and mud) it is recommended to use

an increased clutch/gearbox oil quantity

of 1000 ml.

Attach again the lower bump stop

and

attach it by the two screws

. Tighten at

10Nm.

WARNING:

Used oil contains hazardous to the en-

vironment. For the replacement must be

prepared for disposal in compliance with

the law.
