ADJUSTEMENTS

ADJUSTMENT OF BRAKES

FFFFFront brake

ront brake

The front brake is disk type with hydraulic

control, and therefore requires only ordi-

nary maintenance. If you want to adjust

the position of the lever, use register A

AA.

RRRRRear brake

ear brake

The rear brake is disk type with hydraulic

control. You may adjust pedal height by

means of registers BBBBB and C

A minimum of clearance is

reccommended.

Generally, the only operation that is

performed on the clutch is adjustment of

the position of lever EEEEE..... To do this, use

D.....

Note:

The device you push clutch must have a

play of between 0.4 mm and 0.6 mm.

Therefore, proceed as follows when re-

placing disks:

•

Reassemble the clutch without the outer

cover

•

Send the control rod to end of travel by

pushing from the pressure plate and

measure distance F

•

Operate the clutch lever until the control

rod activates the pressure plate. Measure

distance G

G and check that there is

difference of approximately 0.4-0.6mm.
