Speaker testing method
1. Frequency response
Use Pink noise t o t est t he sp eaker in t he anechoic room , adjust t he
level to make the speaker work at its rated impedance and the power
out p ut is 1W, t hen t est t he frequency resp onse 1m aw ay from t he
speaker.
2. Sensitivity
Use full range Pink noise w hich w as m odified by EQ curve t o t est t he
speaker in the anechoic room, enlarge the signal to make the speaker
w ork at it s rat ed im p ed ance and t he p ow er out p ut is 1W, t hen t est
the sensitivity 1m away from the speaker.
3. MAX.SPL
Use full range Pink noise w hich w as m odified by EQ curve t o t est t he
speaker in the anechoic room, enlarge the signal to make the speaker
w ork at it s inst ant p ow er out p ut level, t hen t est t he SPL 1m aw ay
from the speaker.
4. Rated Power
Use the pink noise according to IEC#268-5 to test the speaker, enlarge
the signal for continuous 100hours, the rated Power is the power when
the speaker will not incur hot damage or mechanics damage.
