4. Connect the pool heater to a residential power supply:
Insert the RCD plug into the grounded socket.
WARNING: Insert the RCD plug into a residual current device (RCD) protected power outlet only.
WARNING: Before inserting the RCD plug into a power outlet, make sure the current rate of the power outlet and the fixed wiring are suitable
for the Pool Heater.
Always test the RCD plug before using the Pool Heater. Test following these steps:
1) Press the “RESET” button. The indicator light should turn red.
2) Press the “TEST” button. The indicator light should turn off.
WARNING: Do not use the Pool Heater if this test fails.
3) Press the “RESET” button again; the indicator light should turn red. The Pool Heater is ready to use.
5. Turn the switch on the top of the Pool Heater clockwise to active the heater. The heating system runs and the heating light on the
panel turns red. Now heating is on process.
NOTE: Do not dry run the Pool Heater. Damage caused by dry running the Pool Heater is not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
6. Remember to unplug the Pool Heater first. Never unplug the Filter Pump when the Pool Heater is running.
7. Unplug the Filter Pump and enjoy warm pool water!
CAUTION: YOU MUST UNPLUG THE POOL HEATER AND THE FILTER PUMP BEFORE PREFORMING MAINTENANCE OR SEVERE RISK
OF INJURY OR DEATH EXISTS.
1. Stop Water Flowing to the Filter Pump and the Pool Heater:
a) Unplug the Pool Heater and
THEN the Filter Pump.
b) Loosen the Hose Clamps on the pool’s Inlet and Outlet Hoses.
c) Replace the Debris Screens with the Stopper Plugs in the pool’s Inlet and Outlet Valves.
d) Refer to the Filter Pump’s Owner’s Manual for information on Filter Pump maintenance.
2. After Filter Pump maintenance, replace the Stopper Plugs with the Debris Screens in the pool’s Inlet and Outlet Valves. Water will now flow to
the Filter Pump and the Pool Heater.
3. Operate as outlined in the Operation section of this manual.
NOTE: To order spare parts for the Pool Heater, please provide us with part no. and part name. (See Fig.3)
